![]() The fretboard is made from ebony, has 24 MASSIVE jumbo frets, those cute little sharktooth inlays, and the jackson typical 12-16 inch compound radius. locking tuners would have been nice though. not bad for being 8 years old, if they start giving up it's an easy fix. The tuners are jackson branded, feel quite smooth and hold the tuning well. not a massive problem to me, and i still prefer it to a hipshot style bridge cause i like having a neck break angle. the only issue i have with this one is that the radius of the bridge does not really match the radius of the fretboard, and i don't think i've seen any of these bridges come with a flat enough radius. i know many people hate these bridges, i'm very used to them from various of my other guitars. The bridge is a fairly standard tune-o-matic number. it also lacks any sort of coil splitting functionality. so all the electronics except the 3 way switch are probably gonna come out in the near future. the SLS3 came with an SH2 and SH4 set from seymour duncan, which i would have preferred. i have had various EMG equipped guitars, and none of them still have EMGs in them. I was actually looking for an SLS3 when i bought this guitar, and the reason for that is the electronics. but all the components used are high quality. no trick wiring, no special hardware, it's very reduced to the essentials. Oh god the picture looked way better on my phone, sorry about that.
